Our Story
It all started with a dream to create a space where people could experience wine the way it was meant to be—natural, authentic, and full of life. Our founders, both wine enthusiasts, traveled through France's biodynamic vineyards and fell in love with the philosophy.
In 2025, we opened the doors to Frenchie, bringing that same passion and dedication to the heart of San Francisco. Every bottle we pour, every dish we serve, is a testament to sustainable practices and genuine craftsmanship.

Frenchie is SF’s first wine bar focused on biodynamic wines. Good wine, good people, and doing right by the planet. Come for the wine, stay for the vibe.
We’re all about wines from small family growers ethically made, full of character, and with stories worth sharing. Our spot’s simple: a place where friends and neighbors kick back, sip something good, and maybe find a new favorite. Our chef whips up food that’s made to go hand-in-hand with every bottle. No fuss, no pretense just great wine, good vibes, and conversations that make it all better.
