Spring Mountain Vineyard’s 2010 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon comes from their high-elevation Napa Valley estate on Spring Mountain’s eastern slopes, where diverse hillside blocks on volcanic and sedimentary soils produced low yields in the cool, late 2010 growing season. This Bordeaux-style blend emphasizes bright varietal character, structure, and longevity more akin to Bordeaux than typical California ripeness, aged 22 months in new French oak and bottled in September 2012.
